How It Started
It all started when I moved from England to Australia and had to build a life from scratch. I’ve always been an outgoing person who doesn’t think much of walking into a room alone and introducing myself but that didn’t mean that finding the people I wanted to spend time with was easy. Quite the contrary.
Trying to navigate career growth whilst building a network in a country you have no roots in is exceptionally difficult, especially if you find yourself in environments that aren’t as supportive as they perhaps should be.
And this problem wasn’t unique to me.
After years of hustling to find my people or a group that might attract my people I came to a few conclusions;
- Many networks offer large, infrequent events
- Interactions are typically superficial, highly professional and awkward
- There is often a lack of intentional fusion between guests
- The forums are often kept professional meaning the wholeness of the people in room isn’t considered. Learnings, mentoring, genuine relationships often go undiscovered.
And this is why I decided to create Little Stones – the home for smart-minded women. The place that supports the whole of you to help you drive change and navigate your way to success.
This is where values driven, ambitious women come to connect, learn and elevate one another. This network isn’t about transactional relationships, cliques or hierarchy, we’re here to provide the space for driven, career minded women to come together and leverage the power of the collective to fulfil your goals in work and life.
